Handy Hints with GLAD Aluminium Foil - When roasting meat, pull back the foil for the last 15-20 minutes of cooking to assist in browning. When meat is cooked, cover in foil to keep warm and retain moisture. - Prevent cakes and roasts from burning in the oven by covering with foil to slow down cooking. - Wrap leftovers in foil, which can be quickly reheated in the oven. - Covering food that is high in salt and or acid (e.g. lemon juice & tomato paste) may cause discoloration and holes in the foil. To prevent this from occurring, lightly coat the foil in cooking oil prior to use. - Allow food to cool completely before covering with foil and storing in fridge or freezer. - Covering stainless steel dishes with foil is not advisable. - Consult user manual before lining oven surface or using in microwave. Wrap or cover food with GLAD Aluminium Foil to seal in flavour and juices when baking, roasting, reheating in the oven or barbequing. It is also great for parcel cooking, covering food or separating portions before freezing. Line oven trays, grill trays or BBQ hotplates with GLAD Aluminium Foil to protect against spills and reduce clean-up.
